Pumpkin Eve was originally my final project for a game writing class. Before long, I'd pushed it well outside the scope of the assignment. In Pumpkin Eve, I wanted to make a story-driven game that feels less like you're "choosing your own adventure" and more like you're physically present in the game's story. Rather than engaging with the narrative and gameplay separately, I wanted players to be able to address them simultaneously in their in-game decisions. Finally, I wanted to make a game that could immerse players in a fantasy world brimming with hand-crafted details and hidden secrets!
